Terms of Service

Effective 22 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of OET Trainer at oet-trainer.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or buying credits you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Khojiakbar Nazarov, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@oet-trainer.com.

2. Independent practice platform

OET Trainer is an independent practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to OET or Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment, the owners of the Occupational English Test. OET is an English-language proficiency test for healthcare professionals, and OET Trainer helps candidates practise the English language and communication skills that test measures. “OET” is used only to describe the exam our practice material prepares you for, and remains the trademark of its owner. All practice tasks, case notes and role-play cards on the Service are original material written for the Service.

3. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 16 years old. You must give accurate details when you register, keep your password confidential and not share your account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

4. What the Service does — and does not do

The Service lets you practise the OET Writing and Speaking sub-tests. Your letters and spoken role-plays are assessed automatically by artificial intelligence, which produces feedback and an estimated band.

  • Feedback and bands are estimates for practice only. They are not official OET results and may contain mistakes.
  • We do not guarantee any result in the real exam.

Not medical or health advice. The Service teaches and assesses English language only. It does not provide medical, clinical or health advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing on it may be used for patient care. All patients, case notes and clinical details are fictional and exist only as a setting for language practice.

5. Credits and payments

  • Practice attempts are paid for with credits. Each attempt uses the number of credits shown before you start it.
  • Credits are sold in one-time packs, priced in US dollars. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”). Polar is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payments, receipts, refunds and chargebacks. Polar’s Checkout Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
  • Credits do not expire, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for money.
  • If an attempt fails for a technical reason on our side, the credits it used are returned to your balance automatically.

6. Refunds

Purchases are final, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. See our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share, sell or rent access to your account;
  • copy, scrape, download in bulk or redistribute the practice material;
  • use bots or automated tools to access the Service, or try to bypass its limits or security;
  • reverse-engineer the Service or interfere with its operation;
  • submit unlawful, abusive or infringing content.

8. Your content

Your letters, recordings and transcripts remain yours. You allow us to store and process them, including by sending them to our AI providers, only to run the Service for you: to assess your work, show you your history and feedback, and provide support. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our content

The practice material, feedback reports and the Service itself belong to us. You may use them for your own personal exam preparation only.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms; unused credits on an account closed for a breach are forfeited. We may change or discontinue parts of the Service; if we shut the whole Service down, we will give reasonable notice.

11. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest version; for significant changes we will notify you by email or in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and disputes go to the courts of Tashkent — without taking away any mandatory protection given by the consumer law of the country you live in.
