Reading sub-test

OET Reading practice

The Reading sub-test is the same for every profession. It opens with a strict 15-minute expeditious reading task across four short texts on a single topic, then gives you 45 minutes for six workplace texts and two longer healthcare articles.

The pressure in Part A is the point: it checks whether you can locate specific information fast, the way you would while a patient is in front of you.
